no account, no profile

there is nothing to sign up for. we do not ask for your name, your email or your phone number, and we do not build a profile of you.

the screenshot you drop

it does leave your phone. we will not pretend otherwise: the image is sent to our server and passed straight to Anthropic, the company whose model reads it.

it is read once, in that single request. we do not save it on the server, we do not put it in a database, and we do not write it to logs. once the answer comes back, the image is gone from our side.

what Anthropic does with the request on their side is governed by their own terms. we send them the picture, the question and the two answers you tapped before the read (him or her, and what the two of you are). nothing else about you.

the full report

the full report works differently. the numbers are still counted here, on your phone: the file is opened by your own browser and every number is counted on your device. what goes to our server is those numbers (how many messages, who starts, how long each side waits, month by month), and from there to Anthropic, whose model writes the verdict. in that request the two of you are "A" and "B": no names, no message text, no file name. the two answers you tapped (him or her, and what the two of you are) go with it, so the verdict asks the right question.

the deep read is different: it needs the words themselves. it is behind a box on the report that is never ticked for you, and never remembered: every deep read is a new decision. tick the box and your chat is sent once, read, and not kept: the messages with their times and sides, the name the other side goes by, and your two answers (him or her, and what the two of you are). not the file, not its name, not the photos or voice notes. it goes to our server and straight to Anthropic, is read in that one request, and the chat is not written anywhere on our side, not to a database, not to logs. what comes back is kept locked for eight days: see "a read is not paid twice" below. leave the box unticked and you keep the full report without it.

if you make a link to share, the numbers of the report (the counts, the waits, the months, the one-line verdict without the name, and whether the other side is he or she) are kept on our server for thirty days under a random address, so the person you send it to can open it. the two of you are "A" and "B" in that record and "you" and "they" on the page; the messages and the names are not in it, and the deep read is never in it. "delete this link" on the report removes it at once.

beyond that, the page makes one more request that carries nothing about you: to confirm a payment, with nothing but the payment's id. and bare counts, the same as on every page: see "counting visits" below.

this holds for the .zip whatsapp hands you as well. the archive is unpacked inside your browser: only the chat file inside it is ever opened, and the photos and videos next to it are not even read off the disk.

closing the page forgets it. we never see the file, its name, or a single line of it. the counts are read once, in that single request, and are not stored on our side. the verdict written from them is kept locked for eight days: see "a read is not paid twice" below.

a group chat

"does he like me" on /group reads a group chat export the same way: the file is opened by your own browser and every number is counted on your device. nothing from the group goes anywhere for the comparison, the free part or the paid one.

the deep read of a group asks first, the same box, never ticked for you. tick it and only part of the group is sent once, read, and not kept: his messages, your messages, and the one message right before each of his answers, whoever wrote it. so that line from someone else in the group, with their name as it shows in the chat, goes too. nothing else from the group. with it go the comparison numbers and your two answers. if you add your private chat with him, it is read on your device the same way, and goes along only in that same ticked request. it goes to our server and straight to Anthropic, is read in that one request, and is not written anywhere on our side. what comes back is kept locked for eight days: see "a read is not paid twice" below.

while you pay, the comparison numbers wait in the tab's own storage with the names of the people they are about, and are gone when the tab closes.

a screen recording

if you read a chat from a screen recording, the recording itself never leaves your phone. it is too big to send and there is no need to: your browser pulls still frames out of it, up to sixty, and those frames are what goes to our server.

the frames do leave your phone. we will not pretend otherwise: they are sent to our server and passed straight to Anthropic, the company whose model reads them: first eight of them for the free look, all of them for the full report. they are read once, in that request. we do not save them, we do not put them in a database, and we do not write them to logs. once the reading comes back, the frames are gone from our side. the paid reading itself is kept locked for eight days: see "a read is not paid twice" below.

before anything is sent, your browser drops frames that only repeat what the frame before already showed while you scroll, so fewer frames go and none of the chat is skipped.

a read is not paid twice

when a paid read comes back (the verdict on the numbers, a deep read, a group read, a recording read in full), the text the model wrote is kept on our server for eight days, encrypted with a key made from the very thing that was read: your counts, your chat or your frames. that key is not kept, and neither is the chat. if the same pass sends exactly the same thing again, our server can open the text and give it back without asking the model again, and it does not use one of your reads. without that same chat in hand nobody can open it, us included. after eight days it is deleted on its own.

we also count what the model costs us, in money only: a total per day and per kind of read, and a total per pass, kept under the payment's id for forty days. nothing about you or your chat is in it.

what Anthropic does with the request on their side is governed by their own terms. we send them the frames, the question and the two answers you tapped above the button (him or her, and what the two of you are). nothing else about you.

paying for the full report

the payment is taken by Stripe, on their page, under their terms. your card details, name, email and anything else their page asks for go to Stripe, not to us. we never see the card.

what comes back to us is the id of that payment, nothing else. our server asks Stripe whether it went through and, if it did, hands your browser a key that keeps the report open on that device for seven days. the numbers of your report wait in your browser tab while you pay and are gone when the tab closes. the charge appears on your statement as HEPLAYSME.COM.

counting visits

every page sends bare counts of steps (a page opened, screenshots or a file picked, a report opened, the paywall shown, the pay button tapped, a payment gone through) so we know how many there were. each count is a single word with no cookie behind it. some carry one word more:

the count of a page opening says whether this browser has opened the site before (a plain yes or no, see "what stays in your browser" below) and the language the site is shown in: two letters, picked from your browser's language setting or from the switcher at the bottom of the page. not the full language list your browser sends.

the main steps of a visit say where it came from, reduced to one word: tiktok, instagram, x, google, other, direct, or the short code in a link like heplaysme.com/a. never the address of the page you came from.

when a read starts, the two answers above it are counted as well: him or her, and what the two of you are: talking stage, dating, ex or friends. one word each, once per read.

none of it is tied to you, your IP or any other count: what is stored is only a running total that goes up by one.

the waiting list is closed

for a short while there was a line on the result screen where you could leave an email address to be told when the full report opened. it is open now, so that line is gone and we no longer collect addresses.

if you left one in that window, it is still held, it was never passed to anyone else, and it was never used for anything but that one notice. write to [email protected] and it is deleted.

hosting and logs

the site runs on Cloudflare Pages. like any host, Cloudflare handles technical request logs, which include your IP address, for delivery and abuse protection. we use the IP for one thing only: counting how many requests came from one address, in the last ten minutes and in the day, so the tools are not drained by a script. that count is kept under the address and expires on its own within two days.

what stays in your browser

we set no cookies for you. no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no analytics that follow you around.

the site keeps a few small notes in your browser's own storage, and they stay on your device: the language, if you picked one in the switcher; the key that keeps a paid report open, for seven days; the ids of links you made, so the page knows they are yours; how many full reads your pass has and how many are left; and a mark that this browser has opened the site before, only so a return visit is not counted as a new one. what is sent is that yes or no, never the mark.

while you pay, the numbers of your report, or the free look at your recording, wait in the tab's own storage together with where the visit came from and your two answers, and are gone when the tab closes.

deleting your data

we do not keep your screenshots, the frames of your recordings, your chats or an account for you, so there is no record on our side to erase. a locked paid read deletes itself after eight days; we cannot tell which one is yours without your chat, so we cannot pick it out sooner. a link you made to share is removed by "delete this link" on the report, or on its own after thirty days. the one other exception is an email address left on the old waiting list: ask at [email protected] and it is removed.
